That Mom Of Four

This morning Guojun woke up to the sound of me and Nyx crying loudly. I was in so much pain and she was scared I guess..... You see, every morning when Nyx wakes up she will crawl from her mattress over to mine to give me and Guojun a good morning kiss.  However this morning while climbing over her daddy's tummy to get to me she slipped and fell and her hard head whacked against my abdomen.  It jolted me up from sleep and I was in pain for quite for quite awhile so I was crying.  And when Nyx heard me cry she also started crying and that woke poor Guojun up wondering what on earth happened...... The pain is gone now and little Nya is still moving and kicking and pushing inside me as usual.  So now I think we might consider putting her in a seperate room when we sleep.

Guojun and I have decided to name our second baby girl Nya (pronounced as Nee-Uh).  Soon I shall have two kakis at home to practise yoga and Pilates with, woohoo! Sorry no printout of the scan to show you guys from our checkup on Friday night cos the gynea didn't print any out for me, grrrrrr..... it was supposed to be just a clinical checkup, we had to bug him to do the scan for us which was a quick one.  

First horse riding lesson Choosing which doll to buy Running to her favourite store Almost every weekend we take little Nyxie girl to the Toys 'R' Us store in Bordeaux Lac, and everytime we try to leave the store its mayhem cos she wants to play with practically everything and push every single button and touch every single thing she can reach.   Nevertheless, we let her run wild in the store.  Next year we will have two little ones to chase around the store, kekeke......

We went to see the gynea yesterday eveing for my clinical check up and requested for him to do an ultrasound so we could find out the baby's gender.  And it turns out we're having a baby girl! The little munchkin was very active during the short scan and it didn't take long for Dr Brenier to tell us her gender.  Now we gotta teach Nyx how to say "mei mei"! =)

We had yet another day of sunny weather this afternoon so I took Nyx out for a short stroll again. Usually we get stuck in the front yard for awhile before we can actually head out cos she now has this habit of plucking grass and picking up small stones.   The couple who rented out this house before us had dogs and when we first moved here I was busy cleaning up dog poop from the front and back yard.  I really hope I got everything cos I'm a little paranoid Nyx will suddenly find one of them.  

Today we were so lucky it wasn't freezing cold with grey skies...... just made me wanna head out with Nyx to bask in the sun.  Not warm enuf to wear shorts yet though, haha.....

Here's one of the 2 teddy bears a.k.a. sleeping partners which accompany Nyx in bed at night.  In these pictures she just woke up and walked out of the bedroom by herself still carrying this bear.  It was also her source of comfort while i was busy "demolishing" her playhouse this morning, hehe.  Yeah, she was very sad and angry with me for taking apart her house and putting the parts into the box.  She kept shouting at me and throwing her toys at me, so angry lor! Oh well that's just too bad....... I've gotta help Guojun with as much packing as i can cos we're gonna be shifting to our new house soon.

It was soooooo..................... cold today. OMG, please please let 18th of December arrive soon.  That's the day little Nyxie, baby number 2 and I touch down at Changi airport and get to escape from the freezing cold weather here for a month.  Kopitiams, hawker centers, buffet restaurants  and zhi char stalls here I come!!!!!! kekekeke.......... Here are just a couple of pictures we took yesterday when we drove to bordeaux centre ville.  Looks like they're gonna have a carvival soon, err..... or maybe they're actually tearing it down, not sure, hahaha! But I saw the huge cranes doing "something" to the roller coaster track when we passed by the carnival area.  

Reverse Plank Seated Twist Ever since I taught Nyx to stop playing with the dustbin and trying to take things out from it, she found another alternative......... the toilet. No, she doesn't take things out from the toilet.  So far she has thrown one pen, several M&Ms as well as the toilet roll into the toilet, argh............Help me..............

Everyday when I practice in the morning I'm never without the "help" of my little assistant especially now that I'm 4 months pregnant and sometimes need a bit more encouragement, haha.  Nyx even gives me that extra challenge sometimes when I'm holding a balancing pose and she's there pushing me and trying her best to make me topple over.  Soon I shall have 2 little "assistants"!!!! Wah hahaha.......

I went for my checkup at the gynea's yesterday evening and here are just a few of the pictures i took of the scan.  Baby number 2 was so active and bouncing all the while as my gynea did the scan so most of the pictures came out fuzzy, haha.  Guojun thought the baby was having very violent hiccups when he saw the screen.  

Its been getting so cold nowadays which is why we've started bundling up little Nyx so she stays warm and cosy.  I however, am a chicken when it comes to cold weather so you won't be seeing me in pictures or videos till the weather turns warmer cos all you'll see is probably my eyes and the rest of me wrapped like a poh piah under my polar fleece blanket.

How dependent we are on being connected to the internet and expecting the phoneline to be working when you pick up the receiver.  For 5 days since last Thursday we had our phoneline and internet connection cut off for no apparent reason.  And this is the 2nd time its happened in two months! Friggin...#$%*%^%# telecoms company here. Blimey! We got the interpreters to call up the telecoms company everyday since last week and they finally sent a representative over to our place yesterday to fix the problem, so now I can bitch about being a cave woman twice in 2 months.  Not fun at all man...... Its like I was on another planet hor! Ok, enough with the whining.... here are some pics and vids of Nyxie.

Over the weekend we went around viewing several bigger houses for rent.  Well, since we have to stay here till 2009 and I'd like more room for Nyx and baby number 2 to roam around, we decided to move to a new house with an additional bedroom as well.  I'd like to share these 3 pictures of one house we like the most out of those we've viewed so far.  But but but...... I don't know if I'll ever get used to a giant thumb hovering outside the house though....... (actually that's my dear husband's thumb covering the lens of my nokia phone, super right??????) Hahahaha.

Monster Mode!!!!!! Yesterday marked the day Nyx's circle of "guardians" grew larger. Now we have two "surrogate parents" LeeLee and Johnny whom we can chuck Nyx to when she is in "monster mode". Muah har har har har!!!!!!!! (I'm just kidding)

Everyday without fail, this little girl will crawl or walk to the white drawer to take out the 2 photo albums containing pictures we took during our home trips back to Singapore.  Although she loves tearing up books and magazines, she's actually real gentle and careful with the photo albums.

Aiyoh...... For your sake aunty Tammy, Nyx dressed up to take some pictures so you can "bio" her on my blog. Hahaha! Okok. I promise I will update more often........
