Mass Blindfold Yoga with Trium Fitness

Image
Overflowing with gratitude and respect for everyone who came to join us at Blindfold Yoga this morning, organised by Trium Fitness at Aperia Mall. Teaching this class has definitely made me more conscious of giving precise and accurate verbal cues such that it guides everyone safely into position. If you’ve never tried to move around while blindfolded before, it can actually be quite scary and disorientating. But once you can get over the fear and trust your guide or those around you, you’ll realize that you’re actually developing your other senses in order to move and overcome obstacles. We start to become so much more in tune with our hearing and special awareness. The intention in holding this session that involved both the visually impaired and normal sighted individuals was more than just to experience a yoga class together as a community as we flowed through from one pose to the next and held hands on occasion to support one another. Image
Thank you @sgsportshub for a Splashtastic Saturday morning when I got to try out the Stingray for the first time! Got my core work done for the day! We even got to experience an Aqua Zumba class after all the thrills on the ride. If you haven’t tried the Stingray and the Lazy River at The Sportshub yet, you absolutely have to try it out! . It was such a treat with the smoothie and slushie making contest too! Looking forward to more fun and exiting events happening here! . #sportshubsg #singaporesportshub #mediaevent #weekendvibes #thatmomoffour #bloggermom #blogger #bloggerstyle #sgfun #sgfitness #goodvibes

Operation Broken Wing 2017

Image
This is the first year we got involved in the charity fundraising event Operation Broken Wing which benefits youth across the region through fitness. These youngsters may come from dysfunctional families, have no support to receive schooling or have anti social behaviors.  It was heartwarming indeed to see not just grown ups but also many teens and young kids including my second little girl taking part in #fightforhope , the workout in this movement to help raise funds for the cause. Not only was it inspiring to watch the athletes strive to raise as much funds as possible through the repetitions and weights that they completed and lifted, but the atmosphere with all the supporters cheering on made my heart swell. I’m a proud momma for sure and if the event happens again next year, I’ll be sure to join in too!
