Peas in a pod

Image
Nyx absolutely adores her meimei, butI still cannot leave the two of them alone to play on the bed or anywhere for that matter cos sometimes Nyx tends to treat Nya like a soft toy.  Just by looking at the picture of the two of them playing on the activity mat you'd think I was the one who positioned them as such. Unfortunately, it was Nyx who went to push Nya to one side of the mat and then ask me to take a picture for the both of them.  Pengz.... Nowadays she tries to get attention by behaving like Nya, like sitting in the UFO Shirley bought for her last year. Also here's a video of her in Hyperactive mode at 11 plus at night.  This is not really her most hyperactive behaviour yet.......

Mid Autumn Festival

Thank you Jasmine and Jason for hosting the gathering and providing the kids with the beautiful lanterns.  The food was great and so was the company.  We even set off fireworks in their backyard!

To the petting zoo AGAIN

Image
Now when we visit the petting zoo Nyx seems to be a whole lot more daring when it comes to touching the animals and interacting with them.   Sometimes when she sees the animals she's familiar with she'll start to sing the Old Macdonald song.   The weather is starting to get a little chilly now so we're trying to make the most of our season pass before it expires, which also explains why we're here AGAIN. Hahaha.

Early morning hike up the Dune du Pyla

Image
This tourist attraction near our home is really just a gigantic sand dune. Its quite a climb right to the top but you won't be dissapointed by the scenery once you're there.  Personally I've been there a number of times so this morning when Guojun asked if I wanted to join him and a couple of avid photographer friends of his to head up there again at 6am....... I yawned and pretended I was dreaming.   They wanted to use their super duper cameras to take pictures of the sunrise from the top of the sand dune.  Despite being caught in the heavy downpour when they arrived, these three guys pressed on and I must say I really like most of the pictures Guojun took.

Cycling to the oyster bay

Image
It was so unusual that Guojun got to come home early today, so we took this rare opportunity on a weekday to cycle with the babies to the nearby oyster farm.  The weather was just awesome too...... so perfect that Nyx and I decided to practice abit of yoga and enjoy the fresh air.
