Stopover at the supermarket to load up on cold drinks cos its Sooooo..... HOT!

Mei mei always drifts off to sleep very soon after we start "gai gai-ing"

Nyx studying a pinecone

Nya wondering when on earth she can run around like her older sis

"Mummy biscuit please.... please lah....please lah......"

Walking carefully towards the gaggle of geese with crackers in her hand

She's actually walking in reverse towards me after throwing the crackers at the birds

Trying her best to get me to go out with her (use the "act cute" method)

See the tents and rides being set up?

For today's excursion I took Nyx to the lake next to the casino near our place.  In english I think you just call it Lake Madeline, haha.  Hope I'm not wrong.
Yesterday I taught her how share her crackers with the birds, so today when she saw a whole bunch of ducks and geese on the lake she kept asking me for the biscuits which I always keep in bag cos she wanted to feed them.
She also learnt the difference between the sounds that roosters (cockle doodle doo), ducks (quack quack), small birds (tweet tweet) and geese (honk honk) make.  She can tell you by now the various sounds farm animals make.  And ask what papa says she will say "go......room!" (short for go to your room" haha.  She will also tell you mei mei says "Ong eh" and mummy says "gai gai time!".  Honestly I have no freaking idea where she learned the last 3 from.  I laughed my head off when she answered me what papa and mummy say.
And from Hi 5 she learned that babies say "goo goo gaga".

On our way back to the car we had to walk through a forested area laden with pine cones so she picked a few up and learned to identify them. We also came across this dried up branch which she pointed out to me and said "pang sai, eeeeee, chou chou".  Well, I guess it really did look like dog poop. Haha. Anyways I didn't wanna pick it up and tell her it wasn't cos one fine day she might pick up a real piece of dog poop and tell me its a branch.  I'll just wait till she's older, haha.

I also noticed that workers weresetting up lots of tents and rides all around the lake, so I guess there's gonna be carnival to go to again this weekend! Whoopee!!!!
